Day Skipper (Practical)
This course gives you the chance to take charge on short passages under instruction. You will concentrate on pilotage, boat handling, seamanship and navigation. Designed for tidal waters. It gives you the confidence to take charge on day passages.

A five-day course in boat handling under power and sail, pilotage, navigation and seamanship to the level required to skipper a yacht by day. This course is the practical component of NZ Coastguard Boating Education theory Boatmaster and RYA Day Skipper Shorebased course.
Prices: 5 day Course fee NZ$1995 per person for two to four persons plus daily boat live-on-board fee NZ$100 per person per day. RYA Course plus Logbook and Certificate NZ$120
